Warren Johnson Biography

 

Private Warren Johnson, age twenty, was killed in action during the Battle of the Bulge on February 28, 1945.

        Warren entered the Army in the fall of 1943; had his basic training in Virginia, and was sent overseas to England early in 1944.

        He served in the Infantry with the Third Army and was in German territory when he was lost in combat.

Warren graduated from New Milford Junior High School in June, 1939.

Note: Private Warren Johnson would have received the Purple Heart posthumously for having been killed in action during the
Battle of the Bulge.
